We had our first launch at Palo Verde Park near Sonoran Science Academy - Broadway. 5 Club members, Lahiru's brother Oshana and parents showed up to launch rockets. We launched a variety of rockets and had a good time. Hope to see more of you out at the launch next time. have a fun and safe holiday.

We had our first meeting of the SSA - Broadway RoboRocketry Club. We reviewed many types of rockets and recovery systems. Alan talked about some history of rockets from the Greek Hero Engine and Chinese Fire Arrows up through modern model rockets. We also discussed briefly about what we will be doing in the club. Our main focus in the begining will be building our first rocket kits and completing NARTREK Cadet certification levels.
