Southern Arizona Rocketry Association (SARA) Desert Heat 2010 launch at the TIMPA site out by the Desert Museum. These are really cool launches to attend. You will be able to watch some high powered rocket launches and meet other rocketeers from around Tucson. This is where we fly our larger rockets. It's a lot of fun. You can bring your rockets out there and fly them in a nice open area without so many rocket eating trees! There will also be rocket vendors on site to upply you with rockets, motors, etc. TIMPA: Tucson International ModelPlex Association This yearly 2 day launch is a really cool event to attend. They will have all kinds of prizes, and usually the largest rockets of the year, day lauches on both Saturday and Sunday and a night launch Saturday night! So rocketeers can actually camp out at the site, enjoy the night launches and be there ready for the Sunday morning launches.
